At Escutcheon, it is traditional to support charities and be of a benevolent nature.

• I raise cash for Starlight, a charity for terminally ill children.
• For Oxfam, I assess guitars that have been donated, at no charge, and buy the occasional item.
• Once a year, I raise cash for the British & International Sailors Society.
• Annually, I buy something from Clarity, a charity for the blind.
• I collect cash for the       R.N.I.B. 
• I also support the British Legion. All forces & ex-servicemen are welcome to call at my stall or through the website.

      Extra Duties.

It is also my duty to encourage my colleagues in music to support a charity of their choice and/or more. I hope that they can also carry out acts of benevolence whenever possible.

I now use the computer system to assist OAPs, ex-servicemen, building tradesmen and travelling people who have no access to the Internet. This is mostly for the purpose of buying CDs but occasionally other reasons crop up.

Having sold £40 of L.P.s to raise funds for Starlight back in April, I was donated a Yamaha Alto sax on 25/09/16 and it sold on Gumtree within minutes of advert being posted. Another £100 = £700 now.

Equinox days :- 2017 . the total is now around 820 pounds. My target is 1000 by my 70th birthday next year. I have about 100 DVDs of regular films to sell at 3 pounds each. Come on guys !
